More about the fundraiser:
Help celebrate Immigrant Mutual Aid Coalition’s one year anniversary! Over the past year, IMAC has transformed from an emergency aid response to the September 2020 wildfires to an indoor “shopping” experience for hundreds of immigrant families living in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Marion Counties. IMAC is 100% volunteer organized and operated, and strives to offer fresh, culturally appropriate produce and food staples to families every 2 to 3 weeks. IMAC also provides essential hygiene products, diapers, PPE, and a clothing exchange. As a collaboration of members from local immigrant justice organizations and immigrant communities themselves, IMAC provides resources and support to close equity gaps and reduce health disparities. www.imacpdx.org
In celebration of IMAC turning one, artist, muralist, and teacher Porter McDonald has donated a custom-designed and illustrated art piece that captures IMAC’s mission. To learn more about Porter’s work, check out @porter.mcdonald on Instagram.
