Are you an early-career* English language teacher (ELT) or a student studying to be an ELT? If so, please consider participating in a study seeking to make online professional development more effective (IRB 25-037).

What will you do?

During the study you will watch a lecture on language assessment and complete some assessment tasks.

What will you receive?

You will receive a $20 or $35 U.S. Amazon gift card, depending on the study group you’re assigned to.

How long is the study?

The study is about 1.75 hours or 3 hours, depending on the study group you’re assigned to.

*Early-career for this study is someone who has one year of teaching experience, or two semesters of teaching practicum experience, to five years of teaching experience. If you have not completed your sixth year of classroom teaching, you still qualify for the study.
