Save the Date for the ORTESOL 2026 Fall Conference on Saturday, October 17, at Portland Community College – Sylvania Campus (12000 SW 49th Ave, Portland, OR 97219).

This year’s theme is Community, Care and Connection.
Join us for a dynamic day of professional learning, community building, and idea sharing. We invite you to submit a proposal and share your insights, classroom practices, or research.

The ORTESOL Conference Committee invites you to submit a proposal.

Presentation Types

• Long presentations – 50 minutes
• • Best for workshops, diving deeper, covering a theoretical area, and including discussion tasks.
• Short Presentation - 25 minutes
• • Best for research, textbooks, and single idea topics.
• Table Talks - 25 minutes, 10 minute presentation, 15 minute discussion
• • A short, interactive format where participants join a speaker's table for a focused session. Speakers present on an interesting topic, resource, or theory for up to 10 minutes, leaving the remaining 15 minutes for collaborative group discussion.
